I LOVE TYPOGRAPHY

Where Design Meets Science
Typography is not just design and aesthetics. It is the vehicle of language and the gateway to reading and written communication. On the thresholds of reading tasks, when text is too small or too far, when there is little time to read, or when text contains crucial safety information, typographic decisions play a significant role in the clear communication of ideas. This is the point at which scientific research steps in to provide objective, data-driven, reproducible insights on how vision and psycholinguistics interact with typographic variables.

ILT Research is dedicated to building bridges between the worlds of science and academia, with the design community and industry bodies at large to help answer the most urgent questions related to text and reading. ILT Research is led by I Love Typography’s CEO, Dr. Nadine Chahine, and collaborates with leading researchers in Europe and the US.
