Well, letter spacing in logotypes is pretty subjective, but for my personal taste, the t+d is a little tight. However, that may well be the intention as Type Directors Club comprises two ‘word groups’; namely “type directors” and “club”. But I’m only guessing.

Is it just me, or is the kerning totally off in the tdc logo? With the d and the c mainly?

Small typo by the way; graphic designs (first paragraph) should have an apostrophe.
