Rangel', we had to cancel Information Design because we only had 2 applicants (I wish I had known that you were interested?)! The instructors and I would like to try again, but we'd probably hold it in Europe instead of Canada, where more people actually know what information design is. In my new Continuing Studies program at Langara College in Vancouver, our 3rd studio in the Communication and Ideation Design series is an Information Design studio so perhaps that will help with public awareness of the topic. I had to cancel Information Design 2008 because of a lack of applicants and we have had to postpone Type Camp India until December 2009 so that Rathna Ramanathan and I can have more time to finalise the curriculum and schedule. Other than that, Type Camp Galiano will run as scheduled on 3 August - and we're filled to capacity! What is ‘J. Rangel’ referring to?
